Our little miss loves to learn. However, it’s definitely on her own terms. And really, what do you expect with a 3 year old? Some people are already expecting the world! It’s crazy. I definitely believe in setting people up for success and that goes without a doubt for our little ones too. I was recently approached by Education.com to give some of their educational and learning worksheets a whirl with my 3-year old daughter. Education.com is an excellent resource for teachers, parents and kiddos of all ages. I asked Miss Skye if she’d be interested in trying out a few worksheets and she couldn’t wait.
I know what you’re thinking. . . “Can’t wait?” Yup, this kid LOVES to dive into coloring, workbooks, letters, you name it. However, she gets bored quickly or very tired as she uses that brain power of hers. As a parent, I want to encourage her to keep going, but I’ve been trying hard to find that balance so she doesn’t get burnt out or start to hate anything. Tricky, tricky. With this particular worksheet, she enjoyed it and was ready for more! I helped her with the words and she was able to connect them to the images fairly easily. She couldn’t wait for more “special worksheets”! I will definitely be printing off more! There are so many options. There are mazes, word search, various math pieces, word tracing and more. I love that you can search by age and still have quite the library!
