It’s no secret that our little ones love playing in the kitchen. We’ve been giving our daughter a little more independence on her Kindle lately. And guess what! Her most watched favorites have been cute, little baking tutorials. We’ve been trying to include our kiddos in the kitchen and have them help out with meals and goodies. It’s always tricky keeping it safe and chill in the kitchen with two toddlers.
I was SO excited when I was gifted our new Learning Tower from Little Partners!! I’ve actually wanted one for quite a while. “The Original Learning Tower™ has been carefully designed to provide a secure environment to stimulate a child’s imagination and allow it to blossom. By raising a child up to counter height, it nurtures a child’s innate desire to be independent and to participate alongside his or her parents and siblings, whether it’s to help out with nightly dinner preparations, bake special holiday recipes, or get crafty. For children, the world is a magical and curious place. They learn by mirroring Mommy and Daddy with the ultimate goal of being able “to do it myself.” The Original Learning Tower allows them to feel like an active member of the family, fully engaged in the learning and creative process. A solid wood construction comprised of layers of poplar and birch make the Learning Tower safe, stable, and built to last as little ones grow, complete with a lead-free, non-toxic finish that cleans easily with a damp cloth. The Original Learning Tower’s height is fully adjustable to fit your little one and your home.”
After putting together our new Learning Tower, the first thing we did was bake and decorate cookies. The kiddos had a blast and felt so empowered being able to do everything right at the counter like mommy and daddy. It was so fun to see them light up and giggle together. With the holidays coming up, we have even more goodies planned and I can’t wait to dive in with the kiddos this year! This special tower empowers children to have that independence they so desire but in a safe, let’s-not-give-the-parents-a-heart-attack way. I LOVE it!! (And I can’t wait to see how it works with the littles helping decorate the Christmas Tree!)
Can you picture your little ones using the Learning Tower? What adventures would you love to share with your littles? And what special treats are you excited to make with the holidays coming up?
XOXO,
