Recently my family had a photoshoot with Christie at JLM Creative Photography. And to be honest, I had so much anxiety going into the day. We often have this vision of what we want to be, what we want to look like and what we want to come across. More times than not, it just doesn’t happen. Truth? After getting everyone ready and to the site on time, our baby boy crashed in the car and woke up from a nap as the photoshoot was starting. Our little girl was being a bit of a nut and I, NO joke, bribed her with a jelly bean to be a good girl. Who else is guilty of bribing their kiddo to be good!? As a nursing mom I had no sleep the night before and my husband was stressed about studying for his midterm. With all the craziness life hands us, we still have these beautiful moments tucked in each and every day. Christie took the time to work with us, make us feel comfortable, played with our little girl. . . it was literally a walk in the park as a family. Nope, it was better! I didn’t have to think about where we were going to sit or set the kids up to play or anything. I just had to enjoy and love my family. Nothing necessarily went as I planned it in my head, yet Christie caught such raw moments filled with love and honesty.
Life is nuts. Life is raw. Life can be ugly… and all wrapped together can be absolutely magical. Christie caught just that. And I am so happy for a very special Mama to take home this GIVEAWAY! Not only that, but the giftcard from our shop and more goodies!? Hello! Woo hoo!!
