I’ve been on a Self-Love kick lately! Or at least, that’s been a serious goal of mine. Hello, 2020! Let’s set the right example for our kiddos and show them that one of the most important things we can do is not only love ourselves but accept ourselves too! It’s no secret that my family has seriously gone through a rough few years. With the storms, there has been the most beautiful light as we had both of our children who have both been the most wonderful blessings and have made our family whole in so many ways.
Through the storms and body changes, it’s been a serious challenge to accept myself, let alone love myself. In the last year, along with creating the Classy Mama Bear brand and blog, I set out to create a safe place of honesty, community and support for fellow mamas (and peeps) feeling alone. I have such a long journey ahead, but I have found a few ways to pave the path!
Hi, my name is Laura and I am a serious makeup addict. Yup! I love it, stockpile it and have fun with it! I do my makeup most mornings, even if it’s really quick and it’s one thing I do for ME. The other is fashion! Hello, fun! As a newer mama, I was lost! (Understatement!) I was suddenly not working 4 jobs anymore. I was in a brand new state. My husband was working a bazillion hours and I was ALONE. And with that, I didn’t know who I was anymore. Finding new looks and pieces to freshen up an older look can brighten up your day like no other! In turn(,) it doesn’t just freshen your look up, it feels like it freshens YOU up! And you deserve it!
With that, I’m thrilled to introduce you to one of my recent favorite finds (& obsessions)! . . . Ella Lane Boutique. Ashley launched Ella Lane in early 2017.

Being a mama of two was already music to my ears! Being a Veteran family supporting USA based businesses was a definite match made in heaven in my book and made it SO easy for me to sell to my husband! (Those of you who don’t already know Patrick, he’s a Marine. . . and those of you who know him,… wink, wink!) And as for Ashley, she literally pours her heart and soul into her Boutique. I haven’t had the opportunity to visit in person, but her online boutique is absolutely beautiful! The pieces are unique, the quality is exceptional and I LOVE the touch of humor added in many of the cups and accessories! Partnering with her became a no brainer and I hope you love it just as much as I do.
